Real security response

The alert said 19 active threats. The threats were still there.

Detection alone does not resolve an incident. Vetex stepped in to isolate the workstation, investigate activity, coordinate remediation and move the incident toward recovery.

REAL INCIDENT RESPONSE

Detection happened. Containment had not.

A business workstation reported an infected state with 19 active threats marked as not mitigated. Vetex began investigating the endpoint, isolated the machine from the business network, reviewed threat activity and coordinated remediation.

The affected workstation was isolated to reduce the risk of additional exposure.
The situation moved from unattended detection to an actively managed security incident.
WHY THIS MATTERS IN HEALTHCARE

A security alert cannot sit unattended in an office handling sensitive information.

Medical practices may already have antivirus, MFA, firewalls and cloud security tools. The real question is who owns the response when an account is compromised, a workstation is infected or a security alert appears.

Vetex provides a technical team that can investigate, contain and coordinate recovery.
Managed support focuses on prevention, detection, response, recovery and continuous improvement.
Medical office technology risks

Small IT problems can quickly become patient-operation problems.

Medical offices rely on staff access, workstations, networks, email, cloud systems, printers, scanners and backups throughout the day.

01 / STAFF ACCESS

One account problem can slow down an entire workflow.

MFA issues, password problems, incorrect permissions and compromised accounts can prevent employees from accessing the systems they need.

02 / WORKSTATIONS & DEVICES

An infected or failed workstation should not disrupt the whole office.

Endpoint protection, patching, device management and incident response help keep office technology secure and available.

03 / DOWNTIME & DATA

Your recovery plan matters before something breaks.

Backup monitoring, documentation and recovery planning help reduce disruption from outages, ransomware, hardware failures and accidental data loss.
